How Messy Monsterz
was born?
Our story began when founder (Steph) was pregnant and looking for a messy sensory play group program in Townsville, Queensland.
She had a hard time finding an activity that allowed her to bond with her daughter and be involved without the need for any singing or dancing.
When she couldn't find the right activity for her family, she decided to create it herself!

After extensive research into sensory play, the benefits and the lack of messy sensory play programs in the Townsville region, Steph decided to create Messy Monsterz.
​
The first day of Messy Monsterz, she was nervous and excited, she didn't know how the children would respond to the messy sensory activities that had been set up but after seeing the joy on their faces and hearing the laughter, she knew that the clean up would always be worth it!
​
She has since come to realise that Messy Monsterz can support parents, care givers, homeschooling families and daycares in providing engaging, interactive and unique messy sensory play!

Why Messy Monsterz?
We believe that
every child deserves to feel special
and should have the opportunity to engage in messy sensory play, regardless of their ability or disability.
Our programs are designed with every child in mind. We engage all 7 senses through the use of our messy materials, tools and accessible station areas.
All our activities are designed to be interactive and fun for each child, so they can learn through play.

We provide you the perfect place to forget about the instagram worthy pictures and just get messy with your little ones without the pressure of creating the activities or the stress of cleaning up the mess afterwards.
